T.P.S.S

What we know is enough. What we have is more than we need
Should we stop doing research, and creating tech devices?

The basis of this saying is unknown to me. What is it that we have enough of? The source of power is dying out, Oil. Shortage of food is global and has been for a long time now. Almost half the nations are on the edge of bankruptcy and are in debt to one another. And if all of this isnt true, then where are all the earths resources? I dont see them. Because theyre hidden, stashed away for better use. Such as funding wars with nukes and other lethal experiments all in the purpose of worldwide take-over of one Alpha nation. Use better than feeding the poor and investing in Ecology to double outcomes.

The reality of the situation is that what we know isnt even what we should know. Its what they want to make sure were brainwashed to know. An illusion of legitimately genuine information.

The more we discover, the more we devour. The more we devour, the more were accustomed to it. And so, the need for more essentials is born again, and with it the motivation to begin that quest once more. The quest for knowledge and thirst for invention is never-ending and the path to it is very bumpy and rough.

There will always be more books to read. More songs to listen to thatll bring Muse to life. More people to meet and learn from. More techniques to come up with and later use for more inventions. More thoughts to see through with determination that leads to more discoveries. There will always be more worlds to concoct in the imagination and bring to life in reality, because when you take a look at the Universe

...then at the human brain cells,

there isnt much of a difference.

And the Universe to Man -the only intellectually functional specie alive-  's knowledge, is ceaseless. Consistently never ending. Then, so is the potential of human kind.

Minds With No Steering Wheels

The first thing that comes to mind when suffering is mentioned, is war, isn’t it? Then poverty. Then Women. Unfortunately, suffering can come in many shapes and devour twice as many aspects. Physical suffering is a sore and it is very challenging and difficult to both endure, and witness. So, it is very essential to learn about it as a beginning to better understand it, whether in the purpose to fix it, or sympathize with it.

A footage showing a kid named Patrick has gone viral. Patrick was deaf. He has been that way long enough to not comprehend basic physical gestures. He’s never heard a single word. Patrick’s way of life was not helpful either as he lived in a ranch away from people, except for his father whom he’d only understood when he’d gesture to an axe for him to go work the field. A human being who’d never known words, the concept of Meaning. Nothing. He didn’t feel lost because he’s never even had a path to lose in the first place. This went beyond being lost. Patrick was isolated, locked inside his own mind, feeling things that he didn’t even know the meaning of. Just that they didn’t feel good given the fact that you could see how he appeared numb and unaware of anything.

Another problem was his father who’d had to witness his child’s suffering, every day, and feeling helpless. There’s a quote from a book that goes: “The Buddha said that suffering was caused by desire, we'd learned, and that the cessation of desire meant the cessation of suffering. When you stopped wishing things wouldn't fall apart, you'd stop suffering when they did.” His desire was for his one child’s suffering to cease, and that in itself was yet another suffering. A ripple effect of the first. But the one good thing about suffering is that sometimes, something can be done about it.

Patrick had gone to a classroom where sign language is taught. There was a teacher, and a wall covered in animal images, hand-motions’ images. As more people filed in (Patrick among them) the process started. You could see how uncomfortable and shy all the students were. Yet soon with the teacher’s encouragement and consistent smile, the students’ determination and their thirst to learn, giggles were slightly audible. They were having fun. The second Patrick was able to fathom the hand gesture for an animal was caught on camera and that moment was heartwarming. Knowing they weren’t alone, knowing it was possible to surpass their disability, it was all worthwhile.

The reality of the situation is that nothing can really stand in the way of true determination and hard work. Desire is not enough. Potential decides the outcome, and the outcome for all those people along with Patrick was the ability to found a purpose and fuel it with eager, solid ambition.

Title? I don't know... Call it a thought

Arent we all so proud?

We went to the moon. We discovered fire, and invested it. Everything we discover, we are aware and smart about it. We use and invest it for more.

And we are praised for it by those who didnt witness such phenomenal accomplishments. We encourage it.

Though of course, those accomplishments did not happen in matter of days. They took time and effort and patience and money.

Now, lets shift the point of view.

Words.

Theyre just letters. Combined together, they have meaning. The results are too combined together. This took SO much time before. More than a Millennia. But we made it.

Now, it literally takes less than seconds to combine letters then words then you have a book.

A book.

A pile of papers linked together that hold absolute magic. Its so authentically mesmerizing when we put it in a literal context, right?

When youre holding a book, reading it, scanning a paragraph after another, this doesnt quite occur to you. Why would it? Youre too caught up in the brilliance of the string of words attached together in a beautiful symphony of over a hundred pages.

Stay caught up. You have the actual product of a human beings hours, days, hell years of thoughts, and feelings, and doubts between your hands.

You have a strangers soul in your hands. But theyre only a stranger up until youve closed the book. Because then, when its all said and done, when your hearts thrown into a vortex of everything you know the author because you know their creation.

Creation. What a Powerful word, damn it!

Writers are actually Gods. And trust me, what theyre truly capable of is even beyond that book you just finished and rocked your world. That book has been edited, re-written, and revised countless of times to be presented to you in the best shape.

Honestly, as magnificently, captivatingly, and utterly beautiful reading is I do wish I had the impossible privilege of watching a writer write.

Like a guardian Angel. Being there when the idea came to them. When it gave birth to thousands of other ideas. When their head was nearly about to explode from all the ideas and subtexts and details crammed in there. When they decide its time to let them all breathe into paper and ink. The first attempt at an introduction. First failure to make a good cliffhanger. The painful frustration when the hand cant translate the mind. Coming up with foreshadowing. The struggle to find good places to insert that foreshadowing. That look of excitement and amazement and astonishment when you let your brain steer your fingers and the result literally freaked you out because it was so awesome and you couldnt believe you came up with something so amazing!

The first drafts before being tweaked here and there. All of that. If I could have a superpower, being able to witness all of that would be it.

Because all those behind-the-scenes moments, theyre the ones responsible for the magic. Immortal magic created by literal mortals whose voices in their heads were too loud to not be recognized.

Its not climbing into a space shuttle and landing somewhere far away. Its the act of imagining whats out there before you see it. Because when you see it thats it. Thats the limit.

But with imagination, there is no such thing as limits.

Sources

I’ve always admired this picture.

It displayed a great deal of truth. We chase both of those things but never stop to consider the exceptions in which they dont meet.

Then, somebody went ahead and added something to it.

Treated equitably = Treated with fairness

What did this person do?

Different perspective, sure. But we can dig deeper than that.
What is his perspective?

He went to the source of the problem, and cut its roots.

See, sometimes it is pointless running in circles and jumping hoops in search for a solution, when the initial problem can be eradicated.

It sounds and seems so harmless, and easy, and simple. So why is it so difficult for you to apply it in reality?

You. When you are bullied, called names and getting beaten up. What do you do later?

Cry, I assume. Maybe not, though. Maybe you suck it up and go home without saying a word. And it happens again. Little by little, the things youre called will seep into your head. Youll start to believe them. Believe you are stupid, like they said. That youre trash, like they said. That youre useless, like they said.

Youll believe it. Convince yourself that they are right. Something really is wrong with you. You might not even remember that they said those things anymore, because youve repeated them to yourself enough times to only remember that you initiated your own self-destruction.

You wont blame them, youll blame yourself.  And the ripple effect will reach every aspect of your life.

Thats one giant problem, isnt it? One with no expiration date.
And?

What? You didnt think that that was it, did you? That you get to just give up? No. You go to the source. You force yourself to go back to the source. No matter how painful and excruciating it is. You do it.

They said those things. They bullied you. Theyre the ones who literally left their business and spent their time on you. Wasted their time making you feel inferior. Like a loser.

Its them. Not you.

Someone who goes out of their way to spend time inflicting intentional pain onto others those people are the problem. Whether they be kids, or adults. Theyre the source.

Why spend money, time, energy, on brain-storming when you can channel them into a better purpose?

Instead of telling your kid to sit by themselves or theyll get beaten up instead of telling them to not fight back instead of preparing for whats already out there fix whats already out there
.
Look out for them. Violent tendencies shouldnt be an instinct. Teach them to share, be modest. Because verbal bullying stems from spotting weakness, and its tempting to feel superior to that weakness by provoking it. Especially when youve been taught to have your own toys, that your clothes are better than that little girl/boy. That youre smarter than them.

Did you think, kids come up with that stuff on their own?

Their parents, in an attempt to build up their kids self-esteem, they boost up their ego as well. And it never goes away.

Just like teaching girls to not talk to boys, to not wear certain clothes. Why not teach your kids to be respectful? To be polite and not objectify any person that walks by?

Its not cool, its not impressive, and its a problem. So, eliminate it from its source.

Awareness is the key.

Nothing is more important than kids. They can be annoying and make you want to run away from them. But they are the pillars of all thats to come. Your job isnt the priority, your child is. Supervise them. Meet their peers parents and have a chat. When did that go out of style? Never.

Teaching and spreading and practicing kindness, understanding, and assistance, is so easy and simple.

So why not? We should have the drive for whats easy and simple, so we can handle the less so.
